got this idea from
mizra
and i want to thank her for a lot of suggestions.this is my reading list for the year two thousand eleven. it is hefty. it contains old, new, and repeats (just because everyone needs a security blanket). i will mark them off as i finish - rate 'em - and maybe write a post with my more detailed opinions... maybe. you know how i love opinions.
this list is far from what it could be... yet i feel 60+ is a good goal for the year. however, i am always up for new suggestions so feel free to share! i like fiction, fantasy mostly, adventure and a little smidgen of romance is always nice. really anything well-written is pretty much a go. vampires are my weakness but sadly overdone these days... plus i am too darn picky on that front. i don't like things like gossip girl and "real life" b*tch fests, nor do i like stories about teenagers who are experiencing "love" for the first time and the sub-sequential torrid and ridiculous affair with some stupid boy -- i have enough caddy females in my life, i don't need to read about them. i like sweeping epics and humor and 3 dimensional female characters and i appreciate brilliant plots and well-developed characters. i can be persuaded to read non-fiction, but persuaded i must be. :D
i am very excited. whether i complete all or not, i now have all the books that snagged my fancy in one pile, which is something i have been wanting to do for a long time. here they all are, pretty little things, with no escape...
XD
